1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to OurLoka. By visiting our websites (ourloka.com, karnataka.ourloka.com), applications, and interconnected digital worlds (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Platform.

2. User Accounts and Sign-In

To access full social features, you may sign in using verified identity providers such as Google OAuth. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and not impersonate any individual, organization, or brand.

3. Guest Access Limitations

We welcome casual explorers through Guest Access. Guests may explore 3D digital regions, walk through landmarks, view real-world cultural points of interest, collect basic items, and see other nearby explorers. However, to safeguard our community from unsolicited outreach, Guests cannot initiate private text chats, participate in voice channels, create or join multi-person group conversations, gift items/coins, or save persistent progress across sessions. Full social interaction requires signing in.

4. Virtual World Behavior & Etiquette

OurLoka simulates real-world Indian districts and heritage landmarks for education, playful exploration, and community connection. Explorers must treat fellow avatars with kindness, cultural respect, and sportsmanship. Obstructing other users, harassing avatars, spamming movements, or intentionally degrading other users' enjoyment of the world is strictly forbidden.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors on the Platform:

• Hate speech, discrimination, harassment, stalking, or threats of violence.
• Transmitting sexually explicit, obscene, or graphically violent material.
• Solicitation, unauthorized commercial advertising, spamming, or phishing.
• Sharing personal identifying details (doxing) of any user without their explicit consent.
• Attempting to exploit, reverse engineer, scrape, cheat, automate bot avatars, or disrupt server infrastructure.
• Promoting illegal substances, self-harm, or unlawful activities.

6. Chat, Voice, & Public Group Conversations

Private chats and voice interactions are opt-in and require explicit consent (mutual request and acceptance). Active multi-player conversations may display a visual conversation cloud or marker above groups to let nearby participants know an active conversation is underway. Users joining an existing group conversation only receive subsequent messages and do not gain access to preceding chat history.

7. Moderation, Reports, Blocks, and Bans

Every participant has the immediate right to mute, block, or report any offending explorer. Our safety system enforces strict thresholds:

• Blocking an explorer immediately severs all chat, voice, and group join requests between parties.
• Receiving blocks from 3 unique users triggers an automatic 24-hour communication suspension.
• Accumulating 3 communication suspensions leads to a 30-day or permanent platform ban.
• Our administrative team reserves the right to immediately terminate or suspend accounts engaging in severe misconduct.

8. Safety Logging & Legal Compliance

To uphold platform safety, protect vulnerable explorers, and comply with applicable laws, chat messages are screened using automated moderation filters. Controlled logs of flagged communications, including timestamps and participant identifiers, are securely stored for safety review and law enforcement cooperation where required by law.

9. Virtual Points, Coins, Vehicles, and Items

Points, explorer coins, animals, inventory snacks, and vehicles (such as bikes, cycles, buses, and boats) are virtual entertainment elements designed strictly for in-world gameplay. Virtual points and items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for legal tender or real goods, and cannot be redeemed or refunded.

10. No Real-Money Purchases Currently

As of this version, OurLoka operates without mandatory paywalls or real-money item purchases. Should optional premium features or digital storefronts be introduced in the future, supplemental commercial terms will be published and will require affirmative consent prior to any transaction.

11. Location, Real-World Data, and Weather-Based Gameplay

OurLoka utilizes real-world geographic data, district boundaries, tourism references, and live meteorological feeds (such as Open-Meteo) to enrich gameplay. Real-time weather states and simulated waterlogged road patches are artistic, game-design approximations created for dynamic interaction. They are not official civic alerts, emergency advisories, or navigation instructions, and must never be relied upon for real-world travel safety.

12. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. RogueTrove Ventures (OPC) Pvt Ltd disclaims all liability for server downtime, software bugs, loss of virtual points, or interpersonal disputes between explorers. In no event shall our aggregate liability exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
